ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – The Tompkins County League of Women Voters says National Voter Registration Day this year will be very different from previous years.

The non-partisan effort to register hundreds of thousands of eligible voters on the single day of action usually involves neighborhood events.

Due to the pandemic, those events will not be taking place.

The local League of Women Voters will be hosting small events on local college campuses to help students register to vote.

The League wants everyone to get registered to vote. For assistance and information, visit Vote411.org.
