Rocker Joan Jett is set to return to the big screen to star in and executive produce romantic comedy “Undateable John.”

In the film, which also stars Daryl Hannah, Tom Arnold and Shannen Doherty, Jett will play a California folk singer, who becomes friends with an oddball couple at an Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting, according to Deadline.com.

Jett will also contribute songs to the movie’s soundtrack.

Last month, Jett released her first album, “Unvarnished,” since 2006.

Her previous screen credits include “Lock & Roll Forever,” “Light of Day” and appearances on TV shows “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “Walker, Texas Ranger” and “Highlander.”
