Two men arrested for stealing robotic pool cleaner

Two men were arrested Thursday for allegedly stealing a pool cleaner from the Wickwire Pool in late July.

Cortland Police say 24 year old Lane Day of Cortland and 24 year old Tyler Soprano of Preble stole a robotic pool cleaner from the pool on July 31st. The cleaner was valued at over $3,000.

Police say the arrests came after receiving citizen tips and investigating on social media.

Day and Soprano are charged with grand larceny, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, and conspiracy.
