Tops Gas Station robbed in broad daylight

A photo from surveillance footage captured the man entering the Tops Gas Station in Lansing/Provided by New York State Police

State police are investigating a robbery that happened at the Tops Gas station in Lansing Wednesday.

Police say a white man wearing a brown coat and turquoise hooded sweatshirt entered the gas station booth and demanded money.

The robbery happened around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday at the gas station on Triphammer Road.

He did not display a weapon. Police say the suspect could be driving a white Ford Expedition.
