Ithaca police investigating death threat at Collegetown bar

Ithaca Police are investigating a report of menacing at a bar in Collegetown early Friday morning.

A male victim told police he was sitting at the Level B bar and lounge on Eddy Street around 1:45 a.m. when a man approached him and threatened to kill him if he didn’t move.

The man, who is described as a college-age Asian male, was carrying a knife as he made the threat.

A search of the area by police did not locate the suspect. The investigation is continuing.
