New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is refusing to comment on his New York counterpart’s recent troubles — or their impact on the Republican candidate trying to unseat him.

Christie swatted back questions from reporters Friday on allegations New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo improperly interfered with a corruption panel he convened.

Christie says he doesn’t comment on other people’s investigations.

The New York Times reported Thursday that the Manhattan U.S. Attorney has threatened to investigate Cuomo for obstruction of justice or witness tampering.

Cuomo challenger Rob Astorino has called the allegations a game-changer.

But Christie, who chairs the Republican Governors Association, reiterated comments he made last month that Astorino has little chance.

He says even he doesn’t have the “juice” to help Astorino, who trails far behind in public polls.
