Thirty firefighters respond to McLean fire

Multiple fire departments helped put out a structural fire on Jeslin Court in McLean Friday morning.

The McLean Fire Department responded to the call around 11am and when they first arrived they found smoke showing from under a mobile home. The fire was located in the wall and floor and was extinguished within minutes of arrival.

About 30 firefighters from McLean, Groton, Freeville, Dryden, Locke and Cortlandville responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
