Update: Lockout ends in Trumansburg schools

UPDATE, 12:30 p.m.: District officials tell us the lockout in the Trumansburg Central School District has ended. We’re still awaiting more details of the police investigation that led to this morning’s lockout.

EARLIER VERSION OF THIS STORY:

Trumansburg Central Schools went into a precautionary lock-out mode this morning, according to a message sent out to parents.

District officials said they contacted law enforcement to investigate comments made by a non-student Friday morning.

The message says the district will remain in a precautionary lock-out until law enforcement can gather more information.
