Today: Cast your vote in the school board election

Voters in the Ithaca City School District head to the polls to vote to approve the 2013-14 budget, to fill three school board seats, and capital projects.

The proposed budget is a 111 million dollar spending plan which includes a property tax increase of less than 1 percent.

School Board members Brad Grainger, Judith Maxwell and President Rob Ainslie are all running unopposed for reelection to a three year term.

Propositions for capital projects will also be featured on the ballot.

Polls will be open from noon until 9 p.m.
