Problems at the DMV? Everybody else did, too

A trip to the DMV took a little longer on Monday.

New York state DMV officials say a computer outage throughout the state halted all transactions through the afternoon Monday.

State DMV officials have not provided an update on when the problem will be fully corrected.

There was a computer upgrade to the state’s system over the weekend, and officials say the amount of transactions done Monday morning were too much to handle.
