Pregnant IC grad killed by tree in NYC park

Authorities say a pregnant woman was struck and killed by a falling tree as she sat on a park bench in Queens.

Yingyi Li-Dikov was pronounced dead while being rushed to a hospital Sunday evening.

Police say the 30-year-old woman was struck in the head and body in Kissena Park in Flushing around 6:30 p.m.

Her husband, Aleksandar Dikov said they were married in June 2012. They were expecting a baby girl in the fall.

He said his wife graduated from Ithaca College in 2009.
