Patriot Riders to hit roads again for Cpl. Bordoni

Patriot Riders to hit roads again for Cpl. Bordoni

In honor of one of America’s fallen soldiers, the Patriot Guard Riders of New York will ride through Tompkins County Saturday for fallen Ithaca Marine Corporal Christopher Bordoni.

Bordoni passed away in a San Antonio hospital in April 2012 from injuries sustained while in Afghanistan.

Rider Captain Gary Allen says the tragic death of the Corporal Bordoni hit close to home and calls the ride a way to honor him.

Registration for the ride begins at 10 AM at the Newfield Fire Hall, and riders will take off from there at noon. Proceeds go to Help on the Home Front charity.
