Obama taps Cornell Alum for IRS Chief

President Obama is appointing a new acting commissioner for the IRS with some Ithaca roots.

Cornell University alum Daniel Werfel is replacing the outgoing Steven Miller, who resigned following a scandal involving the targeting of conservative groups.

Werfel is currently serving as the Controller of the Office of Management and Budget.
