Ithaca woman charged for harboring man from SWAT team

The woman accused of harboring a man wanted by the IPD’s SWAT team earlier this month has been arrested.

31-year-old Jessika Doughty of Ithaca is accused of lying to police after they came to her apartment asking if Ricky Stewart, Jr. was inside or nearby, to which she declined.

Stewart, Jr. was eventually found in her apartment and arrested for locking himself in his ex-girlfriend’s apartment with her children.

Doughty is charged with obstructing governmental administration and will return to Ithaca City Court on August 7.
