IC celebrates Veterans Day

Ithaca College took the time Thursday afternoon to honor Veterans of the United States Armed Forces, in anticipation of Veterans Day this Monday.

Frederick Keener, a Navy SEAL veteran who served in the Vietnam War and current janitor at Ithaca College served as the keynote speaker at the Veteran’s Day Celebration.

It’s a time for him to remember those he served with and honor family members.

Keener believes the United States government needs to do more to care for veterans coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan.
