Former governor Bush to talk education at Cornell with Skorton, Zimpher

Jeb Bush, Nancy Zimpher and David Skorton.

They are three names you might not tie together at all times, but Thursday night, they are all speaking during an event on education in America at Cornell University.

The former Florida governor is the chairman of the non-profit Foundation for Excellence in Education, which is based in Florida.

He’ll be joined by Skorton and Zimpher, who is the chancellor of the SUNY system.

Tickets to the event are sold out, but the event will be streamed live.

Reporter Pete Blanchard will be there this evening, and we’ll have a full report on the Friday edition of the Morning Newswatch.
