Dryden man arrested on child pornography charges

A Dryden man has been taken into custody in connection with an investigation involving child pornography.


State police arrested Paul Mangum A. Sr., 67, this week on two felony counts for his alleged involvement in making child pornography.

Mangum was arraigned on the charges in Dryden Town Court and taken to Tompkins County Jail on $100,000 cash bail.

New York State Police made the arrest with the assistance of the New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children taskforce, and the United States Secret Service.
