Dryden Lake Festival Saturday

Dryden Lake Festival Saturday

From dawn past dusk, events of all kinds will make up the 2013 Dryden Lake Festival and Triathlon Saturday.

It’s the fourth year the event at Dryden Lake Park on West Lake Road has been known as the Lake Festival, a rebranding of the Old Home Days concept.

Member of the organizing committee Dan Schmohe says the festival will also feature a civil war reenactment, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg.

The festival kicks off with the triathlon in the morning and concludes with fireworks over the lake around 9:20pm.

Other aspects of the festival include a fishing contest, food vendors, and musical performances.
