Cuomo signs bath salts ban

Governor Cuomo has signed legislation outlawing a designer drug known as “bath salts.”

The law makes the drug also known as methylone a controlled substance.

Lawmakers passed the bill back in June after a 20-year-old man died overdosed on the drug during a rave on Governor’s Island.
