Cuomo: Casinos “another magnet for tourism”

A day after New York voters approved an expansion of casino gaming, Governor Andrew Cuomo took to the road to talk about the positives of their decision.

Speaking in Binghamton Wednesday, Cuomo talked about how the casino expansion will help generate jobs, keep people in upstate region, and bring in more business.

“This is another magnet for tourism to come north from New York City and that area,” Cuomo said.

The casino expansion referendum passed with 57 percent of New Yorkers approval on Tuesday.
