Cornell to test emergency alert system Wednesday

A heads-up Wednesday on the Cornell University campus.

The university will test its emergency mass notification system this afternoon shortly after noon.

The school will test sirens and PA systems, and will also test voice and text messaging systems.

CU students, faculty and staff who have registered for messaging will receive a text message from sender CornellALERT ID 23177 or 63079 and/or a call from ID 607-254-4636.
