Woman’s body found off Tompkins County roadway

Investigators are trying to figure out what happened to a 31-year-old woman who was found dead on the side of a road in the town of Dryden.

The body of Crystal Grobelny of Moravia was found Sunday morning off West Dryden Road near Caswell Road.

Investigators got a call when a driver saw the body off the side of the road.

An autopsy was performed at a Binghamton hospital, but the results haven’t been made public.

Not much else is being said, but Tompkins County Sheriff’s Department officials confirm that they, along with State Police and the Tompkins County District Attorney’s office, are all investigating the death.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff department’s tip line at 266-5420, or the Tompkins County 911 Center at 272-2444.
