Alice Trappler sentenced to 25 years to life

A woman who conspired with her ex-husband and his stepbrother to kill the father of her daughter was sentenced in Schuyler County Court Thursday.

WENY-TV reports that 41-year-old Alice Trappler of SteubenC ounty will serve 25 years to life in prison for plotting the April 2012 death of Daniel Bennett, who was the father of her infant daughter.

Along with the murder charges, she was also convicted on burglary and conspiracy charges.
