“Cans Along Cayuga”

“Cans Along Cayuga”

On May 29, 2014 Cayuga Radio Group will again be in the Ithaca Festival Parade. Last year with your help we collected over 1,000 pounds of food with our float “Cans Along Cayuga”. We are doing it again this year and we need your help.

Please bring one can of food to set at the side of Cayuga Street along the parade route and when our team comes down the street, we’ll collect all the cans for the United Way, who’ll distribute them to our local food pantries. Or “canstruct” a village on the curb with your friends and family.

Thank you to our supporters of this program: The United Way of Tompkins Country, Trux Outfitter, Thayer Appliance, Mark’s Pizzeria, Wegmans, Tompkins County Solid Waste and the Ithaca Festival.

For more info on “Cans Along Cayuga”, contact Connie Fairfax-Ozmun at CFozmun@cyradiogroup.com or call 607-257-6400…and be sure to get your “can” there!
